On 29 April 2023 and 7 December 2024, The PH group collaborated with Click, Willimantic, a community kitchen and local sustainability enterprise to spread awareness and hold a spirited discussions on two topics that affect local communities: “Moving Communities” on diaspora and stories of transforming new places into “home”, and “Hybridity” and its cultural products and outcomes. We had active discussions, showcasing of traditional and hybrid cultural practices, art, food, and music! In the end, everyone found new stories to remember and think about. We plan to organize more such events in future in collaboration with local communities.
